Privacy and terms of use
This page says what DSCSS stores about you and on what terms it is used. It is short on purpose.
Who runs it
DSCSS is operated by West Maritime AS. VARD uses it for its tenders and decides who gets access.
Where the data is
The service runs at Railway in Amsterdam. Email is sent through Resend, with servers in Ireland.
What is stored
- Your name and work email address.
- The messages, answers, comments and files you add.
- An audit log of what was done and when.
- A password, if you have one, only as a salted hash and never in readable form.
Cookies are used only to keep you signed in.
How long it is kept
Data is kept as long as the project is active. Backups are kept for 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask what is stored about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted where the law allows. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian data protection authority.
Contact
Questions go to raju@west-maritime.no or the administrator at VARD.
Terms of use
- Access is by invitation only.
- The yard owns the tender data. Suppliers own the documents they upload.
- During the pilot DSCSS is offered without warranty.
- The yard's confidentiality rules apply to everything you see here. Do not share it outside your own company and the tender.
